The Grovsnus Original is one of the oldest and most popular snus on the market. At 8.5mg/g, this has a regular nicotine content that is more ideal for everyday use or if you want a mellower experience. It is a coarse grain snus that has a unique tobacco taste because it originates from Norrland, which is in northern Sweden.

In its original format, it is dark in color and moist, providing a faster release of nicotine, tobacco and flavor. It has a higher intensity of flavor than slim and white formats, but is easier to use and prepare compared with loose snus.

Swedish Match manufactures Grovsnus in four different varieties. There is the stronger portion that contains more nicotine, the loose snus that comes as ground tobacco, and a white version. Grovsnus is one of the oldest snus brands in the world, originally becoming trademarked in 1872. It continues to remain popular, and sells around 20 million cans a year.

Solid, All-around snus
I recently switched to Grov OP regular strength after years of using Grov Stark because I wanted to reduce my nicotine intake. This is tasty snus. I detect a bit more bergamot in this than the Stark but the flavors are similar. The Stark has a more robust and longer-lasting flavor though.

Daily driver
Has a nice flavor to it, doesn't really clash with most food or drink that I've tried with it but it still is intense enough to be noticeable and lingers for a while.

My 2nd Favorite
The flavor is interesting. The nicotine level is perfect. I’m buying a whole roll next time. It’s supposed to be a pure tobacco flavor, but it tastes like a cross between ONE Svart and Kronan to me, which is not a bad thing. Highly recommend this one!

One of the best
Very impressed with Grov. I like the portion material, its almost silky. Packed full. nice tobacco smell, even nicer taste. You really cant go wrong with Grov, one of my favorites, and worth the price.

Grovsnus - Really, really good!
Grovsnus is one of those brands of Snus where, although you use other brands, you keep coming back to it, time and time again. A robust, tobacco flavor this is very satisfying. Tasty too!

Excellent!
I usually iterate among Grov, Göteborg, Ettan, and General –always original portion. I am very glad I can get these from snusdirect at reasonable prices. I'm not a connoisseur, but Grov has a distinct taste on the lines of the aforementioned brands, which I consider to be on the "rustic", tasteful snus with smoky, tobacco flavor.
