Good Premium Snus

The good: can design is fantastic from the artwork, and raised lettering to the hidden interior storage for used portions. The fact that is metal just elevates it to a whole other level.
The tobacco is rich, dark and mellow like a fine cigar. It has a nice saltiness and develops character over the first 10 minutes or so. It reminds me of a subtler, more nuanced Mackmyra, without the heavy drip. It screams high quality. If you are looking for a straight tobacco snus this very well might fit the bill for you. Portions are plump and full. 12 mg is sufficient and I appreciate that it is neither weak nor strong but comfortably in the middle. Pairs well with cold brew coffee.
The bad: it was difficult to open. Also, my portions were on the dryer side. I pre- wet them with a little additional water. I would have preferred them moister. The portions, in my opinion are a bit too large to feel super comfortable in my mouth and are not discreet. A tad smaller would have been better. If you are looking for a blast of whiskey flavor, you will be disappointed. This is a tobacco centered snus with very slight hint of whiskey that develops over time as you use it. Id go with Mackmyra for a more whiskey centered portion. Even still I actually prefer Islay to Mackmyra. The quality of the tobacco really shines here.
